Glynn Visual Arts (GVA) presents “2 Many Dogs” from St. Simons Island native Nathaniel Thompson in the Portman Gallery February 11 - March 21.
Thompson, whose alias is “Doggie on the Spot,” is a young folk artist who creates dog-centric art because, as he states, “I appreciate dogs for what they stand for – making people happy.” For this exhibition, Thompson brings a colorful, upbeat collection of reverse painted glass and tin cut outs. “The main goal of this exhibition is to make people smile,” said Thompson.
