About Us

SCORE is a member of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber and offers free mentoring and business consulting service to chamber members and the business community. The mentors (left to right) are Jay Martin, Gary Johnson, Al Suto and Bernie Villemaire.

All the services are free and can be scheduled in the chamber offices by going to SCORE.org and submitting a request. A mentor will then contact you to setup an initial one hour appointment to determine your needs and how SCORE can help. The services can involve marketing, finance, operations, business planning, funding or you may just have a single issue you need help on such as licensing requirements or accounting.

Georgia SCORE helped 1300 businesses in 2015 and provided 3000 hours of services to entrepreneurs through face-to-face and email mentoring.
SCORE has offices in Atlanta, Gainesville, Macon, Columbus, Augusta and Moultrie.

SCORE is a non-profit organization funded by government grants and private donations and is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). SCORE members volunteer their time and business expertise to help coach the next generation of entrepreneurs. SCORE boasts 340 chapters and 11,000 members nationwide.
